Passion is an interesting word because it has so many uses and meanings, accurate and colloquial. As used here, passion describes a basic energy or life force.

Do you remember how it is when you see someone who is passionate about something? The passion is in their eyes, their voice, the energy they radiate. It matters not if their passion is for a job, a relationship, an activity, or a hobby; when they have it, you can feel it.

In contrast, living your life without passion is dull, uninspiring. Imagine slogging through a passionless day. Imagine never having passion again. How you feel when you imagine that is the exact opposite of what passion feels like.

The bad news is, no one can give you passion. The good news is, you don't need anybody to give you passion.

You can grow it yourself.

Get that passion is a fundamental life force and you'll look for it. Look for it and you'll experience it. Experience it and you'll demand it.

September 14, 2006 Pounce on a Project VIII -- 2006 Last month our focus was decluttering. We had people going through piles in boxes including lots of books, throwing out bags of trash, major desk clean up and file clean up. We all felt lighter at the end of the session. What project would you like to get on top of and accomplish this month? Come to Pounce on a Project VIII -- 2006. Join Coach Andrea on Thursday, September 14th, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Eastern. We will join as a group by phone and declare what you want to accomplish: getting your website finished, clean up that corner of your office that is looking really scary, finish an article early for Friday's deadline or make cold calls.

During the morning, the group will gather by phone a few times to check progress and get any support needed to finish with a bang. At noon, the group will celebrate their accomplishments.
